In the matter of the State vs Crystal Hinkle, Hinkle saw her Probation revoked Friday, December 13th on a charge of driving while revoked second offense and misdemeanor possession with intent to deliver (Gabapentin). Hinkle appeared in court in custody. She was represented by her attorney Morris Davis. “Miss Hinkle does not intend to contest the allegations against her,” Davis said. “Probation is not necessarily for her.”
Davis also asked that the court impose the underlying sentence so that Hinkle could get the matter behind her. Hinkle was sworn in to testify as to her intent in the matter and affirm that this was her wish.
Hinkle was remanded to the Department of Corrections to serve her underlying sentence of two concurrent one year sentences. She will be given credit for all time served and any time served anytime before bond, as well as good time credit.
