The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

  • Amber Lynn Gladding, Canaan Heights, was cited for expired operators and no insurance by Cpl. J.R. Wince. She pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $204.75 and court cost of $330.50.
  • Andrea L. Poniecki, Washington, DC, was cited for speeding (60-45) by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Amy M. McDonald, Chincoteague, Va. was cited for speeding (55-45) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • James A. Bedford, Montrose, was cited for speeding (55-45) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

The following civil cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • State of West Virginia verses Robert D. Bennett: He received judgment of no contest for one count driving too fast for road conditions on Feb. 9. He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25. This case was ordered and adjudged on March 31 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • St. George Medical Clinic verses Howell: Judgment was found in favor of St. George Medical Clinic against Burlin J. Howell in the amount of $138 plus $75 court cost. Defendant failed to appear, motion granted to set aside judgment and judgment given by default judgment. This case was ordered and adjudged on April 8 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
