The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

  • Tammy K. Nelson, Beverly, was cited for too fast for road conditions by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Carl G. Deavers, Tunnelton, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. J.E. Kopec.  The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Alexandra T. Church, Marion, IN, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Derek L. Roneuch, Weirton, was cited for No MVI by Cpl. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

  • State of West Virginia verses Robert H. Mollohan, II:  Harpers Ferry, received judgment of guilty-plea agreement for one count driving while in impaired state.  He was given credit for time served on 24 hours and was assessed fines of $100 and cost and fees of $240.25.  He also received judgment of Motion by the Prosecuting Attorney to dismiss-Granted by the Magistrate-No fees charged on the case for one count disorderly conduct and obstructing officer.  Motion by the State to dismiss was granted.  This case was heard on April 11 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • First United Bank and Trust verses Johnson:  On April 12 the court found in favor of First United Bank and Trust against Ellen M. Johnson in the amount of $958.91 plus $80 court cost.  This case was heard on April 12 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
  • State of West Virginia verses Danny A. Walker:  Kerens, received judgment of no contest plea for one count unlawful methods of hunting; loaded gun/crossbow in vehicle during prohibited hours; and a no contest plea for one count possession of wildlife.  He was assessed fines of $0 and court cost of $330.50.  This case was heard on April 9 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • State of West Virginia verses Lynard D. Nestor: Parsons, received judgment of no contest plea for one count unlawful injury to or destruction of property.  He was assessed fines of $100; cost and fees of $165.25 and $100 restitution to be paid directly to Tucker County Commission.  This case was heard on April 16 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
  • State of West Virginia verses Kelsey Marie Markle: Montrose, received judgment of guilty plea for one count making, issuing worthless checks.  She was assessed fines of $1; court cost of $190.25 and restitution of $90.61.  This case was heard on April 16 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • State of West Virginia verses Tina Marie Jones: Davis, received judgment of no contest for one count shoplifting.  She was assessed fines of $10; court cost of $165.25 and must make restitution of $50 directly to Davis Shop-n-Save.  This case was heard on April 11 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • State of West Virginia verses Dawn Denise Lambert: Beckley, received judgment of guilty plea for one count knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance without valid prescription.  She was assessed fines of $20, court cost of $165.25 and credit for time served of 12 days.  This case was heard on April 12 by Magistrate William M. Miller.
