The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
Robin T. Bowley, Hambleton, was cited for speeding (38-25) by Trooper. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
Catherine E. King, Davis, was cited for expired registration by Trooper. C.R. Donelson. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
Michael G. Maltha, Charleston, was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
Dylan Warren, Mill Creek, was cited for speeding (29-25) by D.A. Sliwinski. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
Michael S. Bates, Jr., Thomas, was cited for no insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. The charge was dismissed with proof shown.
Ruth Gowell, Falls Church, Va. was cited for speeding (69-65) by TFC J.J. Schmidle. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $175.25.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
Christopher See, Elkins, has been charged with one count possession of controlled substance without prescription and one count driving under influence of alcohol, controlled substance or drugs. According to the complaint, on Thursday, Aug. 22 Deputy D.A. Sliwinski of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department was patrolling WV32 when he conducted a traffic stop on a Jeep for speeding. Upon approaching the vehicle, he smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana. Upon searching the driver, Christopher See, Sliwinski found a bag of white crystal substance, confirmed by See to be methamphetamine, as well as a large amount of cash in his pants pocket. Upon searching the vehicle a small portion of a blunt was allegedly found as well as a clear glass pipe containing a brown residue. Sliwinski asked See when he last used a substance and he allegedly replied an hour ago. Standard sobriety tests were performed and the defendant failed all. See was arrested for DUI and Possession of a controlled substance and was transported to WVSP barracks for booking. See was then transported to Davis Medical Center for a blood draw and urinalysis test. A toxicology report indicated positive for cannabis and methamphetamine. See was transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail. A $1,500 bond was not posted.

State of West Virginia verses Trevor Roy: He received judgment of Dismissed for one count Domestic Battery-Motion by State to dismiss without prejudice was granted. The case is to be refiled as a felony. This case was heard on Aug. 15 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
State of West Virginia verses Lora Ann Bohon: She received judgment of Guilty verdict for one count overtaking and passing school bus; signs and warning lights upon buses. She received 30 days suspended jail sentence and cost and fees of $185.25. This case was heard on Aug. 13 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
