The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

Anthony Lynn Scott: Elkins, was charged with one count of Domestic Battery.  The complaint states that on Friday, July 31, Cpl. B.T. Zirk of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint of harassment and domestic battery that was reported to have occurred on Sunday, July 26 from victim Camey Nestor.  On Monday, Aug. 3 Ms. Nestor provided Zirk with a hand written and signed statement stating that on Sunday, July 26 between 1:30 and 1:50 a.m. she returned home.  She states that she got out of her car, locked it and began to walk toward the right side of her house and up the ramp.  She said the suspect, Anthony Scott, allegedly came from around the right side of the house and punched her in the face.  She stated she fell up against the side of the steps and he yelled and screamed, swearing at her.  She said that before he could hit her again she allegedly pulled a weapon on him and told him to get away from her.  She also stated a vehicle pulled into the driveway and Scott yelled this is not over “expletive.” She stated she got up and ran for the door and the vehicle went up the hill.  Nestor advised Zirk the suspect is her boyfriend and they had lived together in the past.  All suspects are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
