The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Michael V. Naseef, Exton, Pa., was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Bobby Joe Lilly II, Winchester, Va., was cited for speeding (62-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Sheila J. Goss, Parsons, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25. A charge of no valid proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.
- Robert Lee Roy, Parsons, was cited for tobacco on school property by Sheriff B.K. Wilfong. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $5 and court cost of $165.25.
- Jeremy S. Bolyard, Bayard, was cited for cell phone use by Trp. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100.
- James Raymond Dymond, Ellwood City, Pa., was cited for speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Kenneth Wayne Friend, Jr., Oakland, Md., was cited for speeding (63-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Nathan Scott Wright, Hambleton, was cited for no seatbelt by Dep. C.R. Donelson. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
- Kristian R. Salovaara, New York, NY, was cited for speeding (55-45) bt Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost $165.25.
- Amelia Sue Junkins, Aurora, was cited for no seatbelt by Chief Dep. E.C. Surguy. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Terick J.D. Hays has been charged with Burglary (nighttime). According to the criminal complaint, on Saturday, Aug. 2 at approximately 6:30 p.m. the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department responded to a Burglary complaint at the Delaney residence at 186 Third St. in Thomas. Wendi Ball stated that someone had broken into her mother’s residence and had stolen several items. After investigating the scene, a search warrant was issued on Thursday, Aug. 7 to search 156 Third St. in Thomas where officers recovered several items belonging to the victim. Terick Hays was arrested and a two page statement described how he had forcibly broken into and entered the residence that he had burglarized. He stated that at approximately 3 a.m. he used a pry bar to enter through the back door and stole several items and then returned again the next morning and stole more items. These crimes occurred on or about the dates of July 25 to Aug. 2.
The following cases have been assigned in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Dustin T. Carr, Charles Town, was charged with a misdemeanor of failure to appear on Aug. 6. A PR bond of $1,000 was posted. A cash bond of $1,000 was not entered.
Carr was also charged with a felony of failure to pay child support on June 30. He waived a preliminary hearing and case was bond over to Circuit Court. A PR bond of $5,000 was transferred. A cash bond of $5,000 was not entered.
- Robert Scott Price, Parkersburg, was charged with driving while license revoked-DUI on Aug. 17. A PR bond of $1,000 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. before Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
- Donna Rae Plum, Thomas, was charged with domestic violence on April 21 and a PR bond of $1,500 was posted
