The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

Douglas Jay Wyatt, Jr., of Wardensville, was cited for speeding (54-45) by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

John Brent Easton, of Davis, was cited for speeding (55-45) by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.  A second charge for no insurance was dismissed with proof shown.

Rockford Truman White, of Davis, was cited for expired registration by Dep. C.A. Teter.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

Robert C. Jones, Jr., of Germantown was cited for speeding (65-55) and an unsigned registration by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest to the charges and was assessed fines of $5.50 and court cost of $330.50.

Cody W. Heckler, of Parsons, was cited for speeding (59-45) By Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.  A charge of no valid proof of insurance was dismissed with proof shown.

Cody Wayne Heckler, of Parsons, was cited for no MVI by Dep. C.A. Teter.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of$165.25.

Norman A. Long, of Parsons, was cited for expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of$165.25.  a charge of no insurance was dismissed with proof shown.

Daniel Thomas Houghton, of Vienna, was cited for no proof of insurance by Dep. C.R. Donelson.  Charge was dismissed with proof shown.

Muthuthantrige Fernando, of Gainsville, Va. was cited for speeding (54-45) by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

Ashley Nichole Blackburn, of Keyser, was cited for no seatbelt by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.

Hollie Sue Wilson, of Parsons, was cited for driving suspended and no proof of insurance by Dep. C.R. Donelson.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25 for first charge.  Second charge was dismissed with proof shown.

Cory S. White, of Hambleton, was cited for talking on cell phone by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $100.

Paul James Watkins, of Gormania, was cited for expired MVI by Cpl. M.S. Wetzel.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following cases have been assigned in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

Sheila Marsh, of Hambleton, was charged with using a cell phone and certificate of insurance on July 29.  Second charge was dismissed and a court hearing will be held before Magistrate Riley H. Barb on September 30 at 10:30 a.m.

Alexa B. Marsh, of Hambleton, was charged with written reports of accidents on July 27.  He pled not guilty on July 30 and a court hearing is scheduled for September 9 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Carol D. Irons.

 

The following case was heard in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:

 

Katie Lynn Morles was before Magistrate Riley H. Barb on Thursday, July 31 in regards to child neglect charge.  Worles waived her right to a preliminary hearing and the case will now be moved to the Tucker County Circuit Court.  She is still under a $10,000 surety bond and must begin drug testing through the Tucker County Community Corrections office.  Her attorney is waiting for more discovery from the State, which is forthcoming.
