The following citations have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Office:
• Troy Orlando Dendtler of Madison Heights, Va. was cited for a Traffic control device offense by Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Frederic Langsam of Potomac, Md. was cited for Speeding (63-45) by TFC J.E. Kopec. He was assessed fines of $4.20 and court cost of $165.80.
• Evan Christopher Sheppard of Pittsburg, Pa. was cited for Speeding (55-45) by Cpl. D.W. Burge. He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Colleen Therese McDonald of Davis was cited for Speeding (64-55) by Cpl. M.A. Roy. She pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Kayla Marie Card of Parsons was cited, with Driving with obstructed view, by Cpl. D.W. Burge. She pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.20 and court cost of $165.80.
• Trenton Ray Dibartolomao of Parsons was cited for No insurance by Cpl. W.S. Wetzel. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $200 and court cost of $165.80.
• Calvin E. Ewell of East Earl, Pa. was cited for Speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled Guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Robert Martin Biggs of Keyser was cited for Speeding (59-45) by Sgt C.D. Siler. He pled Guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Rella B. Cvetican of Dry Fork was cited for No seatbelt by Cpl. M.A. Roy. She pled No contest and was assessed fines of $25.
• Jamie Lea Robles of Elkins was cited for No insurance by Cpl. D.W. Burge. Citation was Dismissed with proof shown.
• James Harrison Oldaker of Parsons was cited for a No passing zone offense by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Jonathan J. Bush of Parsons was cited for Speeding (59-55) by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle. He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Adrian Scheeren of Greensburg, Pa. was cited for Speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
• Ronald Michael Garstka of Mechanicsville, Va. was cited for Speeding (59-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. He pled No contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
The following cases have been Adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
• Casey Fridley of Thomas received judgment of No Contest Plea Agreement for one count Driving under the influence of alcohol with minor under 16 in vehicle. Offense was reduced to DUI first offense. The date of the violation was June 29 and he was assessed fines in the amount of $100 and costs and fees of $277.54. The case was adjudged on Aug. 13 by Magistrate Carol Irons.
• Annette Dow of Parsons received Judgment of Guilty verdict for one count Obscene, anonymous, harassing, threatening communication of electronic devices. She also received a Not guilty judgment on 15 additional charges. The date of the violation was April 19 and she was assessed fines of $25 and cost and fees of $194.55. The case was adjudged on Aug. 13 by Magistrate Carol Irons.
• Cases of State of West Virginia verses Wilkins and State of West Virginia verses Crossland were continued.
The following Criminal Complaint was filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Office:
• On Aug. 13 at approximately 1 a.m. Jessica Nicol Poe, of Hambleton, took two 8 oz. and one 24 oz. can of Budweiser Strawberita alcoholic beverage from the cooler at Sheetz and concealed them in her purse. She exited the store without paying for the items. The total value of the items totaled $5.01. The incident was captured on video and a copy has been requested. It was later found that the defendant already has two prior convictions for shoplifting within the past seven years. In accordance with WVC 61-3A-3© if a defendant is convicted of this offense, the conviction would be a felony since it is the third conviction of shoplifting, regardless of the value of the merchandise.
• Jessica Nicol Poe of Hambleton, was charged with two counts Child Neglect and two charges of Child Restraint. She also received two additional citations, for Driving without a Driver’s Licenses and Driving Left of Center. According to the criminal complaint Poe was traveling north on WV72 and was observed by officers to be driving recklessly. She was driving across the center line numerous times and when stopped by officers and asked if she had a driver’s license, she stated no. When asked if she was anyway impaired, she again stated no. The complaint also states that the two children, ages four and two, in the back seat, were not in any type of child restraints/car seats. Sheriff B.K. Wilfong contacted Robert Poe, who arrived on scene to take the children. Officer in charge of the case is Chief Deputy E.C. Surguy.
