Magistrate News for July 1, 2014

The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
  •  Richard Glen Cline, of Red Creek, was cited for no proof of insurance by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  Charge was dismissed with proof shown.
  • Karl Alvin Hamrick, of Mt. Lake Park, Md., was cited for speeding (59-55)  by Dep. C.R. Donelson.  He pled guilty and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Sohail Haleem Malik, of Rockville, Md., was cited for speeding (34-25) by Dep. C.R. Donelson.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Barbara Sue Bish, of Thomas, was cited for expired registration and no proof of insurance by De. C.R. Donelson.  He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25 for the first charge and second charge was dismissed with proof.
  • Joshua A. Bowley, of Hambleton, was cited for no seatbelt by Dep. C.A. Teter.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Joshua S. Bowley, of Parsons, was cited for expired registration by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Mia M. McGath, of Kinsman, Ohio, was cited for no seatbelt by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  She pled guilty and was assessed fines of $25.
  • Nidlin R. Kotla, of Monmouth Jct., NJ, was cited for speeding (68-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  A guilty plea was entered and fines of $20 and court cost of $165.25 was assessed.
  • John C. Mcgrath, of Bethesda, Md, was cited for parking in a no parking zone by Trp. J.E. Kopec.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • John Hunter Dix, of Davis, was cited for littering by Dep. C.R. Donelson.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100, solid waste $100, litter control $100 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Jeffrey Alan Levy, of Shepherdstown, was cited for speeding (58-45) and expired registration by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Jeffrey Alan Levy, of Shepherdstown, was cited for no proof of insurance and expired registration by Dep. C.A. Teter.  He pled no contest to both charges and was assessed fines of $200 and court cost of $165.25 on first charge and $4.75 and $165.25 on second charge.
  • Jeffrey Alan Levy, of Shepherdstown, was cited for no insurance and expired registration by Cpl. D.W. Burge.  First charge was dismissed with proof shown and he pled no contest to second charge.  He was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Frank A. Servello, of Mountainside, NJ, was cited for driving suspended by Sr. Trp. J.J. Schmidle.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $100 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Harry B. Pennington, IV, of Hambleton, was cited for speeding (68-55) by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
  • Katie Rae Abernethy, of Davis, was cited for speeding (63-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler.  She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.

 

The following cases have been assigned in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
  • Catherine McIntire, of Shinnston, was charged with failure to obtain bear damage stamp before hunting and possession of wildlife on June 5 by Terry Fluharty.  She posted a PR bond of $5,300.  A court hearing is scheduled for August 21 at 10:30 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • Jeffrey Yuchek was charged with DUI, driving on right side of roadway and driving too fast for road conditions on June 7. He posted $1,200 in PR bonds and all charges were dismissed by Magistrate-State No fee on June 16.  The case was before Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
  • Aaron Turner, of Davis was charged with two counts of failure to appear on June 10.  He posted a $10,000 PR bond.  The case was before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • Jesse Florentine, of Eglon, was charged with failure to appear on June 10.  A $5,000 PR bond was posted and the case was before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
  • Kimberly Pickerling, of Billings, MT, was charged with driving while license suspended on June 6, she pled not guilty on June 12.  A court hearing is scheduled for August 14 at 10 a.m. before Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
  • Larry Wolfe was charged with DUI on June 13.  A property/surety bond of $1,000 was posted.  Magistrate Riley H. Barb heard the case.
  • Wayne Hamilton, of Keyser, was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.  A PR bond of $2,000 was posted and Magistrate Carol D. Irons heard the case.
  • Steven S. Souza, of Brewster, MA, was charged with DUI on June 21.  A $1,000 PR bond was posted and Magistrate Riley H. Barb heard the case.
  • Kristin Coleman, of Charleston, was charged with no notice of change of address on June 14.  She pled not guilty on June 23.  Case was heard by Magistrate Carol D. Irons.
  • Corey Cochran, of Parsons, was charged with sexual assault in the first degree on June 17.  The preliminary hearing was waived on June 24.  Cochran is in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail under a $25,000 bond.  The case was hard by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
