The following citations have been recorded in the Tucker County Magistrate office:
- Sabrina C. Albright, Cresaptown, Md. was cited for speeding (73-45) by Sgt. C.D. Siler. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Debra S. McCrum, Parsons, was cited for two counts of unlicensed dogs by R. Rosier. She was assessed fines of $50 and court cost of $330.50.
- Kashia M. Williams, Davis, was cited for no insurance by Deputy C.A. Teter. She pled no contest and was assessed fines of $200 and court cost of $165.25.
- Matthew B. Smith, Valley Bend, was cited for failure to keep right by Cpl. J.E. Kopec. He pled no contest and was assessed fines of $4.75 and court cost of $165.25.
- Timothy Owens, Parsons, was cited for unlicensed dog by R. Rosier. He was assessed fines of $25 and court cost of $165.25.
The following criminal complaints have been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- Jeremy Denver McIntyre, Parsons, was charged with one felony count of possess with delivery of controlled substance. The complaint states that on Friday, March 10, Sgt. C.D. Siler and TFC J.J. Schmidle, of the Parsons Detachment of the West Virginia State Police, responded to the Dollar General Store in Parsons in reference to a drug complaint. Once on scene Siler and Schmidle observed a male individual (identified as Jeremy D. McIntyre) come across the parking lot talking on his cell phone and jump up to the passenger side door of a tractor trailer. The troopers made contact with the truck driver and the defendant. The driver allegedly told Siler that he contacted the defendant to purchase (Subutex/Buprenorphine). The troopers obtained a handwritten and signed statement from the driver (Michael Bates). The defendant allegedly advised he did have pills on him. A quick search for weapons also revealed a syringe loaded with Buprenorphine, advised by the defendant. McIntyre was placed in custody by the Troopers. A cash bond of $10,000 was not posted and a preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 17 before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Tammy Wratchford, was charged with failure to cause a minor to regularly attend Tucker County High School. The student has accumulated 12 full unexcused days and eight half days unexcused. A PR bond of $300 was posted and a court hearing is scheduled for April 6 at 11:15 a.m. before Magistrate William M. Miller.
- Brian Lee Crossland, Dry Fork, was charged with domestic violence. According to the complaint, on Sunday, March 12, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Deputy B.T. Zirk of the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched by Tucker County Communications 911 to 36 Hazelnut Lane in Dry Fork for a domestic. Zirk and Cpl. J.E. Kopec, of the West Virginia State Police, arrived on scene and located the defendant, Brian Lee Crossland, in his garage allegedly drinking an alcoholic beverage.
- Zirk detained the defendant while Kopec went into the residence to speak with the victim, Leah Brittany Crossland. The victim provided Kopec a handwritten and signed statement allegedly saying that the defendant had been drinking and they began to argue. She stated that the verbal argument became physical and the defendant allegedly choked and slapped her. Zirk placed the defendant under arrest and transported him to the Tucker County Sheriff’s Department and then to Tygart Valley Regional Jail. A property/surety bond of $500 was not posted and a court hearing is scheduled for April 27 and 10 a.m. before Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
The following cases have been ordered and adjudged in the Tucker County Magistrate Court:
- State of West Virginia verses Amy M. Jones: received judgment of Dismissed by Mag-State-No Fee for one count interference with officers or members (WVSP), false information. A motion by the State to dismiss was granted. This case was heard on March 13 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
- St. George Clinic verses Skinner: The court found in favor of St. George Clinic in the amount of $565.22 plus $80 court cost against Janice Skinner. This case was heard on March 14 by Magistrate Riley H. Barb.
