The following criminal complaint has been filed in the Tucker County Magistrate office:

James Brian Gill, of Halethorpe, Md. was charged with one count of Domestic Battery and one count of Domestic Assault.  According to the complaint on Friday, March 29, Deputy B.M. Gidley received a complaint from Tucker County 911 regarding a mother and son arguing and the son, James Brian Gill, taking her car keys and cell phone.  Gidley arrived on scene at the neighbor’s house to speak to the victim.  Once there he obtained a handwritten and signed statement which states that she was about to leave her home to take her grandchildren to church.  Gill allegedly burst through the door into the dining room, took the phone off the wall, grabbed her keys off the table, pushed her against the wall and forcibly took her cell phone out of her hand.

The suspect said to the victim, “You are not going anywhere, I am going to Baltimore.”  In fear for the victim’s safety she fled the house and went to the neighbors to call for help.
