On Wednesday, Nov. 19 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the Parsons Police Department investigated a motor vehicle accident on US219 in which two tractor trailers sideswiped causing injury to one of the drivers.
A tractor trailer owned by KNP Co. Inc. and driven by Howard G. Underwood of Bowden was traveling north on Rt.219 and another tractor trailer owned by GNH Trucking of Markleysburg, Pa., driven by Douglas A. Corless, traveling south, sideswiped causing the mirror of the GNH truck to crash into the driver’s door window and glass from the window caused several scratches on the driver of that truck.
No other damage was done to the other vehicle, no one was transported by EMS and no citations were issued.
