Douglas and Sheila Coffman Spessert will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an “open house” celebration at the First Baptist Church in Parsons from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.
They were married at Shiloh Church of the Brethren at Kasson on April 13, 1968 by Rev. H.O. Poling.
They are parents of three daughters; Reshell Southerly of Harrisonburg, Va. Trina Zerkle and husband John of Timberville, Va. and Tiffany Southerly and husband Jeremy of Fulks Run, Va.
They have five grandchildren. The couple requests no gifts just come and help them celebrate their day.
