Mrs. Nestor’s Kindergarten class at Davis Thomas Elementary Middle School collected items for the Tucker County Animal Shelter in lieu of a gift exchange at Christmas. Karen Linton of the Mountaineer Humane Society along with Dante and Vito visited the students to thank them for their gifts. Students were taught how to pet a dog that they were not familiar with in order to minimize potential injuries, and then got to visit with Dante and Vito. The Mountaineer Humane Society and Tucker County Animal Shelter thank the students for their donations to the shelter.
