October Awareness Month

On October 25, 2016 the Parsons volunteer fire department visited the Early Head Start classroom in Parsons to celebrate October Awareness Month. The children and parents were able to see a working fire truck and ask the firefighters questions about fire safety. The children were given fire hats, stickers and coloring books and the parents were given information on evacuation routes, designated meeting spots, fire safety tips and information on what to do in the event of a fire.
