Rogers-Owens Wedding

rogersweddingNathanael ‘Newt’ Rogers and Holli Owens were united in marriage in an outdoor country ceremony on July 7, 2013 at the beautiful Chanteclair Farm in Friendsville, Md. Officiating the ceremony were Pastor Daniel Porter and Pastor Pat Cassidy.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Sandi Owens of St. George. She is the granddaughter of Kathryn Knotts and the late Bernard Knotts and Melvin and Dolly Owens of St. George.The groom is the son of David and Deborah Rogers of Fort Kent, Maine. Serving as Maid of Honor was the bride’s sister, Ashley Wolfe. Bridesmaids were Jerusha Rogers, Dena Helmick Bechner and Gina Petree.

David Rogers, father of the groom, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were David Zhang, Matthew Hottle and Client Athey. Ushers were Nick Wolfe, Clay Wolfe and Preston Wolfe.

Laurel Owens, cousin of the bride, played All Things Bright and Beautiful, on the violin for the wedding ceremony. The couple resides in Oakland, Md.
