Sixty-five 4-Her’s decided to travel around the world at the 2014 Tucker County 4-H Camp. Camp was held July 6th-11th at Camp Kidd Park. 4-Her’s had the opportunity to learn from the Appalachian American Indians of WV, travel to France and several other countries, learn about 4-H around the world, and so much more.
Despite the storm on Tuesday, campers were able to participate in their swim trip to Wave Tech in Fairmont, WV. Before returning back to camp all the campers were treated to Ice Cream from the Dairy King in Philippi.
The campers also participated in a wide range of fun classes including beauty basics, archery, air pistol, air rifle, basket weaving, forensics, string art, ceramics, scrapbooking, wood burning, trapping, flower arranging, party planning, fun with chocolate, cooking and more!
