Tucker County – Today marks the opening of the Tucker County Cultural District Authority 2018 fiscal year for grant applications. These applications will be focused on improving and maintaining county cultural assets, as well as improving and creating new activities in the county. All applications can be turned in at the Tucker Community Foundation Office and the Convention and Visitors Bureau Visitors Center in Davis, West Virginia.
With this year’s applications, the Tucker County CDA is looking to Protect, Connect, Enhance, Promote, and Support Tucker County as stated in our Performance Agenda. If your organization includes protection of cultural assets such as historical landmarks or could supporting the county like branding and cultural tours and trails. If your organization fits this description, then you should apply.
The Tucker County Cultural District Authority is a state-appointed organization that is moving toward the preservation and protection of county cultural assets. We look to protect and enhance local Art, Music, History, and Recreation in Tucker County.
