Elkins, W.Va.—The Monongahela National Forest’s Visitor Centers will be opening Thursday, April 16, 2026. The Forest’s alerts webpage will also have additional information on specific locations and opening dates. Local conditions can affect dates, please check the web often for updates.
The opening times for the Visitor Centers are as follows:
• Cranberry Mountain Nature Center:
Sunday – 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – 9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday – CLOSED
• Seneca Rocks Discovery Center:
Thursday through Monday- 0930 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday- CLOSED
