Canning, home goods and garden exhibits

DSC_0788PARSONS – The open show took place during the Tucker County Fair and the following exhibitors took the Best of Show awards in their departments:
Vonda Phillip – fresh fruit department for red apples. Canning department for pears, apple juice, sandwich spread and elderberry jelly.
Linda Hockman – fresh fruit department for blackberries.
Margie Buckhannon – home arts department for queen size afghan.
Jean Morrison – garden fresh vegetables for jalapeno. Canning department for sausage.
Janice Poling – garden fresh vegetables for cherry tomatoes.
Brenda Jones – baked goods and candy for peanut butter fudge.
Erma Snyder – home arts department for machined pieced/machined quilt.
Lucille Adams – hobbies department for wood carving.
Ann Cosner – hobbies department for photo.
Mary Bowley – canning department for peach preserves.
Wendy Wolford – canning department for sauerkraut.
In the club posters, best of show went to Clover Run CEOS for ‘Rethink your Drink’ and first place went to Holly Meadows CEOS for ‘Household Organization.’
