Cornhole, Shmornhole who cares who wins? After all, it’s not who wins or loses, it’s how you play the game.

Cornhole TournamentNOT. And certainly not to the winning team of Andy Carr and Mary Faller who took the title of Champions of the Carr Camp Cornhole Tournament along the banks of the Dry Fork River July 5, 2014.

The brainchild of the Faller clan – descendants of Joe Faller and Velma Carr Faller the tournament was first held in 2013 to benefit the upkeep of the Bright’s Chapel Cemetery. In the blazing sun, Andy Carr and Mary Faller fought off 11 other teams playing four games to win the tournament. To cement their title of Grand Champions, the pair played a final round.

Those competing were: Jim Faller, Mary Faller, Bernie Faller, Joyce Faller, Mike Faller, Ruthann Carr, Jeff Carr, Chris Conzaman, Grant Conzaman, Carla Foster, Francis Foster, Rudy Robinson, Coleman Heater, Betty Heater, PJ Heater, Joe Heater, Alicia Faller, Andy Carr, Frank Carr, Sharlene Carr, Leonard Finster, Paula Finster, Jeanette Carr, and Sharon Griffith.
