Cortland Foundation, Inc. and Tucker County Prostart program will partner again for the fifth annual Pasta Palooza.
From 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 11, Chef and Tucker County High School ProStart program instructor Carrie Shahan and her students will create unique pasta dishes for members of the community and Cortland Acres residents. Last year’s event drew rave reviews from the nearly 80 attendees, and the crowd is expected to be even bigger this year.
Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged by e-mailing foundation@cortlandacres.org or by calling 304-463-4181. Donations are appreciated.

Sauces include marinara, Alfredo, tomato cream, pesto and olive oil.
Ingredients to add include parmesan cheese, sweet peas, mushrooms, fresh spinach, crushed garlic, roasted red peppers, diced tomatoes, red onions, Italian parsley, basil, meatballs, grilled chicken and sweet Italian sausage.
