As part of ERIE Insurance Company’s special program, ERIE Agents Giving Back,  Rodger Ware, owner of Blackwater Insurance Group has distributed Gift Certificates to Tucker County frontline responders as a way to show support and appreciation to those who serve during the challenging times brought about by the Covid-19 virus. Gift Certificates to MR Pizza in Parsons were presented to members of the Parsons Vol Fire Dept, Tucker County EMS, Tucker County 911, and the Tucker County Sheriff’s Dept.

In the northern part of the county, Gift Certificates to Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 946 “Wing Night” in Davis were presented to members of the Thomas Vol Fire Dept, Davis Vol Fire Dept, and Canaan Valley Vol Fire Dept. Rodger Ware said, “ It is important to remember those who go above and beyond to protect the citizens of Tucker County and I hope this gesture will let them know that they are appreciated.  Mike and Robin Hardy of MR Pizza and Bob Lemon of the Fraternal Order of Eagles bestowed their cooperation in making this program possible. “
