Fairview Cemetery Homecoming Canceled

The 44th Annual Fairview Cemetery Homecoming, scheduled for June 28, 2020, will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is the first time our Homecoming has been canceled since it began on June 27, 1976.

The first Homecoming meeting was held with the goal to improve and clean up the two Fairview cemeteries and establish a fund to pay for summer mowings. We have met each year since that time on the last Sunday in June beginning with a picnic lunch and social time with a short business meeting to discuss the progress of establishing perpetual care funds for the cemeteries.

Please send donations for mowing and upkeep of the two Fairview Cemeteries to Fairview Cemetery Fund, c/o Mountain Valley Bank, N.A., PO Box 383, Parsons, WV 26287.You may call Bonnie Knotts @ 304-478-6243 if you have any questions.

The Homecoming next year is scheduled for June 27, 2021.
