Recently, The Hinkle House Food Pantry in Parsons gave food for Christmas to 177 families.  Each family received a ham or turkey or meat coupon, stuffing, noodles, vegetables, butter, bread, candy, homemade cookies and fruit.

The First United Methodist Church of Parsons Sponsors The Hinkle House Food Pantry and has been helping the community for about 20 years.  This involves essential community support throughout the year from generous individuals, churches, civic organizations, and many local businesses, as well as help from those who volunteer on a regular basis.

Hinkle House Food Pantry is open every Wednesday from 1 – 2:30 p.m. for people to come once a month to receive food and on an emergency basis. For information call Rev. William Brown at 304-478-1114.
