Traditional Vita Site-The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program provides face to face help for those making $52,000 or less. Tax returns are prepared for both Federal and State and transmitted electronically with refunds 7-10 days, after initial filing season starts January 31, 2014.

Client may prepare own taxes from site: www.myfreetaxes.com/ncwvcaatucker A trained/certified VITA Volunteer will be present to assist taxpayer in the preparation of his/her tax return. Computers will be available for this process. This site can also be accessed from your home computer and taxes be prepared by individual. Free helpline to assist you file your taxes during tax time-1-855-698-9435 (1-855-My-Tx-Help) when preparing own return without trained/certified Volunteer present.
