2013 Leaf Peeper’s Festival Fall Colors Golf Tournament
Moderate temperatures, light winds and brilliant colors greeted the golfers that competed in the 16th Annual Fall Colors Golf Tournament.  21 teams entered this 2 person “Captain’s Choice” scramble and when the dust settled Mike Cooper and Bill Riggleman posted a 12 under 60 to win the Open Division at the Canaan Valley Resort Golf Course.  Second in the Open Division was Lewis County’s Matt Gissy and Travis Woodford with an 11 under 61 and third place went to Tucker County’s Travis Hamrick and Calvin Dearborn with a 10 under 62.
The “Fun Division” was just that!  The players enjoyed the fantastic display of fall colors and the team of Todd Pratt and Gary Geiger enjoyed it the most with a winning 3 under 69.  Randolph County’s Buck Cecil and Jeff Trulik finished second with a 70 and Tucker County’s Dave Lambert and Jonathan Hicks rounded out the field with a 1 under 71.
