The Tucker County High School Cheerleaders are in search of contestants for the annual Little Mr. and Miss Mountain Lion Contest.

Little boys and girls in Tucker County between the ages of 3-6 are eligible to compete. Contestants will collect pennies for votes and one penny equals one vote.

Each contestant will be paired with a TCHS cheerleader during the contest. The crowning of Little Mr. and Miss Mountain Lion will take place on Friday, Sept. 14 at the R.H. Armstrong Field during halftime of the Tucker County vs. Moorefield football game. Each contestant will receive a gift bag full of exciting TCHS items and the winners will receive a crown, sash and season pass to all TCHS home sporting events for them and a parent. Little Mr. Mountain Lion will also receive a TCHS football jersey and Little Miss Mountain Lion will receive a TCHS cheer uniform.

There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, August 8, 6:30 p.m. at the Tucker County Football field in Parsons for all interested boys and girls and their parents. Contestants will meet their cheerleader and have their pictures taken for the paper. For more information or with any questions please contact Amber Kyle at 478-2999 or at akyle@k12.wv.us.
