The West Virginia Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) will be closing its Elkins office on Monday, June 30 due to budget cuts. The office is located in the Randolph Center building on Harrison Avenue. ADRCs are staffed by professional Resource Counselors who assist seniors and persons with disabilities locate and apply services and resources to help keep them living independent. Services include assistance with Medicare Part-D and other insurance related questions through the State’s Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Though the local office is closing, the same high quality services are still available over the phone by calling 800-296-5341.
