Each year the VA designates a week in February as National Salute to Veteran Patients.

The 2013 National Salute is scheduled for February 9-15, 2014. The employees and volunteers at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg cordially invite you or your organization to participate.

The National Salute to Veteran Patients is a great opportunity for national, state and local officials and community groups to visit Veterans at the VA Medical Center. It would be our pleasure if you, your group or organization could join us at some time during the week. We know your visit would lift the spirits of these Veterans while they are away from home and in the hospital.

If your schedule permits, please contact Voluntary Service at 304-623-3461 Ext. 3669 or 3932 to arrange a date and time.

VA employees and volunteers across the nation are honored to serve Veterans every day and hope you will be able to join us for this special week held in their honor.

VA Centers across the nation ask that you please contact your local VA Hospital and arrange a date to help honor the soldiers that have given their all for our country.
