NEW PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT INSTALLED AT MILL RACE PARK

The Parsons Parks and Recreation Commission (PPRC) is please to announce that the new playground equipment has been installed at Mill Race Park and ready for youngsters to enjoy.  This playset encourages imaginative, creative and social play, it has a wide range of play activities, and has climbers and slides designed to promote active play.  It accommodates ages 5 to 12, handles approximately 35-40 persons, and most importantly is ADA accessible.  This equipment was purchased from Cunningham Recreation.  The PPRC’s total investment on this project was approximately $45,000.  The funding for this project was secured through the William Mahan Harman Memorial Fund.
