The 4-H All Star program is an honorary organization for
veteran 4-H members and leaders who have an impressive record of achievement and service.

All Stars are rewarded with five-pointed red star pins, with the points representing head, hand, heart, health and home achievements. Becoming an All Star means a person has a lifelong dedication to 4-H, and those who are chosen can act on that dedication by leading local clubs, becoming a counselor or helping in county 4-H events.
At Young Adult Conference two Tucker County 4-H Leaders were inducted into the WV All Star Chapter.

Being a long time 4-her herself, has been a leader for the past seven years. This leader volunteers
at 4-H camp every year. She has helped cook in the kitchen and with the Cloverbuds on Bud
Day. She is always willing to lend a hand to help the organization.
This leader has been an integral part in preparing 4-Hers at the Tucker County Fair. She has worked tirelessly before and after the fair getting the livestock areas set up for incoming 4-Hers and staying late into the night after the fair to clean up afterwards. She has taken it upon herself to plan fun activities for 4-H and FFA members in the barn. She has set up ice cream bars, fun games and movies for 4-H livestock members to participate in after they have exhibited in the evening. She has gone out of her way to help younger members and make them feel welcome and encouraging them. She has worked tirelessly to improve the show facility by organizing efforts to build new livestock pens, adding automatic pig waters and adding onto the livestock wash pits.
She works closely with the FFA Chapter at Tucker County High School. She dedicates her time in organizing and delivering good for fundraisers, volunteering to transport and chaperone students on trips, and is an huge advocate in the community for youth organizations.

Paul has served as a camp counselor for the past five years, taking time off from his job at the Department of Highways to spend a full week, night and day, to supervise the boy’s dorm. He always encourages participation from all campers and all leaders as well, in every camp activity. He has served as Sag and Chief of the Big Feet. Also teaching air pistol and wood burning classes.

Served as Vice President and Barn chairman on the local fair board, for the past four years. In doing so he has worked with our different extension agents to step up the county wide weight every spring, organized barn cleanups, both before and after the fair, has rebuild the show arena with more safety measure in place.
