This past Sunday, Heather Togbetse’s “Woven Into Me” opening – a show of works inspired by her grandmother’s life in Parsons – was a great success. After volunteers helped hang the show on Saturday at the Heritage House, Heather’s family along with local artists and community members came together to welcome and celebrate her great work.

Mike Rouseau, gave the opening remarks thanking and introducing her to the crowd, Heather expressed her excitement for being able to show her work at its source. She walked around the exhibit and explained the story depicted on the quilts for the rest of the reception.

Everyone was thrilled to see this beautiful show and to see the Heritage House in use again. You can still see the show for the next month at the Heritage House. See www.artspringwv.com for hours and more details.
