Parsons Volunteer Fire Department regrets to announce the cancelation of the 2021 Firemen’s Homecoming Fair. The event had been postponed in May with the expectation of proceeding with activities in September.
The decision was made jointly by a group of involved individuals. Chief White said, “After collecting information we felt that we needed to cancel the 2021 event entirely. It wasn’t a decision that we took lightly but under the current climate we had to side with safety first and the possible financial loss if we would have continued.”
“We look forward to resuming the event at its regular schedule dates in May of 2022.” stated White.
