The Tucker County Senior Citizens held their monthly outpost at the Parsons Center on March 6, 2017. Evelyn Moore welcomed everyone. Everyone recited the Lord’s Prayer, gave the Pledge of Allegiance and then sang “God Bless America.”

Linda Bonner read the minutes from the February Outpost which were approved as read.

Those having March birthdays were recognized. They were Earl Moore, Susie Jones, Evelyn Moore, Virginia Popio, Mary Lee, Jim Buddingh, Brenda Jones and Velma Roy.

Arlene Ramsey then read “Marvels of March”, Evelyn Moore read “Legend of the Shamrock”, Jean Morrison read “Ireland”, and Bernice Hymes read “The Blarney Stone.” Evelyn Moore read some Irish Blessings.

Linda Bonner then gave announcements about the trips to Washington, PA for the Casino/shopping trip and for the Pirates baseball game.

The group was then entertained by Fred Puderbaugh. He told stories and sang songs from Ireland.

Door prized were won by: Nellie Workman, Ida Workman, Mary Lee and William Courey.

A blessing on the food was given and everyone enjoyed a delicious meal.
