A $3,000 donation from Shell WindEnergy, co-owner of the NedPower Mt. Storm wind energy project, has added significant incentive to Run For It racers and it demonstrates the company’s commitment to safety.  Part of their contribution will provide for a dedicated EMS crew on-site on race day and the remainder will support race day grant awards.
Strong support from the business community and a number of generous individuals has the Run For It award purse exceeding $70,000, the largest in race history.  Teams have until Sept. 1 to register; racers can pre-register before Sept. 15.  Entry forms are available online at www.tuckerfoundation.net, Run For It Headquarters in Davis or the Foundation office in Parsons.
The 2k/5k race is Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11 a.  Registration will be open at the Davis Fire Hall Friday, Sept. 27 from 5-7pm or race day, Sept. 28, before 10am.
