Sommer Marie Dilly Appointed as a Princess for the 80th Mountain State Forest Festival

Sommer Marie Dilly

Mountain State Forest Festival Director Scott Goddard has announced that Sommer Marie Dilly will serve as a Princess to the Royal Court of Maid Silvia LXXX, Kara D’Ann Alvarez.
Princess, Sommer Marie Dilly, was appointed by West Virginia Commissioner of Agriculture Walt Helmick. She is the daughter of Shawn and Cyndee Dilly of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Mary Lou Irwin and the late Fred Irwin of Elkins and Frank and Pat Dilly of Parsons. Princess Dilly has two brothers, Dylan and Levi. Sommer is a 2015 graduate of Elkins High School, where she was in the top 10% of her class, a member of the National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society, a completer in the Health Science program in the Randolph County Technical Center, a varsity cheerleader, track runner, Young Life participant, student council representative, and a Center Stage dancer. In the fall, she will be a sophomore at University of Charleston where she is a sister of Theta Kappa Pi, a Young Life leader, and a member of the Golden Eagle cheerleading squad. Sommer is majoring in Biology/Pre Med with a minor in Applied Leadership.
Please join Sommer Marie Dilly and the other Royal Princesses as they descend Coronation Hill at the crowning of Maid Silvia LXXX, Kara D’Ann Alvarez, during the Coronation Ceremony at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the Outdoor Amphitheatre of Davis & Elkins College.
