This will be the third year that the volunteer board for the park will hold the festival. They started in 2012 with kid’s games, hay rides, and any walk and in 2013 added a wing cook- off with great success.

This year there will be the same with additions of 50/50 drawings, silent auction starting at 2 p.m., dime toss, and pumpkin painting. Refreshment available for sale.

The board has made a great number of improvements to the park, including serving tables in the pavilion, new swings, restoring the volleyball court with additional sand, and a new net. They have also installed a new net for the basketball court, enclosed bulletin board and trash bag holders, with more plans in the future.

The goal is to provide a safe, clean area for all, young and older, to enjoy, It’s a great place for picnics and family gatherings and is booked most weekend in the spring and summer.
