Team One Celebrates One Year Anniversary

Oakland, MD – Team One Chevrolet Buick GMC in Oakland Maryland is celebrating a milestone. September 1will mark the one-year anniversary of the official re-opening of the dealership as a member of the Timbrook Automotive Group.

Since taking the reins from the former owner, Team One has been flourishing. Although the dealership had been operating in the same location for more than 30 years, the future has never looked brighter. Currently the dealership is tracking to have its best year ever under the new direction of General Manager Chris Azzaro and owner Fred Timbrook.

“We have been so pleased with the way the staff has responded to the new system” said Azzaro.   “More importantly, our customers seem to really like the changes we’ve brought in and that’s what really counts!”

Some of the dealerships new improvements include an expanded courtesy vehicle fleet for the service center and body shop, plus an all-new coffee station and a larger television in the customer lounge. But the most popular new perk for Team One customers is a completely free 3-year maintenance plan that is included with the purchase or lease of any new or pre-owned vehicle.

“People love the 3-year free maintenance program. It’s one of the things that gives us an edge over the competition.”

Even with all the recent changes, customers will still see many familiar faces throughout Team One. According to General Manager Chris Azzaro, almost the entire staff was retained when Timbrook Automotive took ownership.

“We still have 99% of the original staff in place” said Azzaro. “I’m very proud of that.”

After more than 20 years of highly successful automotive experience in Las Vegas and Morgantown, Chris Azzaro joined the Timbrook organization in May of 2016. He started in Cumberland, MD and then came on as the new General Manager at Team One in late August of the same year.

“What a great opportunity for me and my family! I love Garrett County and Preston County”
