Davis, WV. The Tucker County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet will be held at the newly improved Canaan Valley Resort State Park on Thursday, May 15. This year’s categories are the Educator of the Year, Student of the Year, Employee of the Year, Business Person of the Year, the Community Service Award, and the coveted “Tuckineer”.

“Since 1979, the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce has held this banquet to recognize the individuals that, through their performance in these award categories, go the extra mile to make Tucker County a better place to live, work, and to own or operate a business.” said Chamber President Roxanne Tuesing. “This is an opportunity for some of the county’s ‘unsung heroes’ to get recognized for their efforts” said Tuesing.

The event will begin with a “social half hour” at 6:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 7 p.m.. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Tickets are only $35 and can be reserved by contacting the Chamber office at 304-259-5315.

For more information on the Tucker County Chamber of Commerce’s events or membership in the Chamber, contact 304-259-5315.
