Davis, WV. The Tucker County Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 40th Annual Awards Banquet. This year’s categories are the Educator of the Year, Student of the Year, Employee of the Year, Business Person of the Year, the Community Service Award, and the coveted “Tuckineer”.
“Please remember to be as specific as possible on why you think this person should be recognized” said Jessica Waldo, Chamber Executive Director. “The more details we have, the easier it will be to pick a worthy candidate for each category.”
Nominations for these awards are due to the Chamber office no later than the end of business on Monday, April 23, 2018 and can be mailed to Awards Selection Committee, PO Box 565, Davis, WV 26260.
For the last 40 years, the chamber has celebrated the best of Tucker County and this year is no exception. This banquet is held to recognize individuals from across the county that go above and beyond, making Tucker County a better place to live, work and operate a business. Consider nominating someone for each category and encourage your friends. The more individual nominations, the better!.
