DAVIS, W.Va. – The Tucker County Democratic Executive Committee (TCDEC) honored Canaan Valley resident Ronnie Beall for a lifetime of community activity.
Beall, a Sunday School teacher, long-time member of the Canaan Valley Volunteer Fire Department, and a participant in many community improvement projects, was honored by the TCDEC as part of its annual fundraising dinner.
Beall received a plaque created by local artist and committee member Noel K. Craven at the dinner.
The award on behalf of his community recognizes Beall for his six days a week cleaning the grounds of the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. The plaque notes that “it is a time when he left his community better than he found it.”
Beall is well known to area residents as an attorney whom they could turn to for assistance on many occasions.
