Tucker County Fair Queen Daphne, Beth Zirkle recently competed with 77 other young ladies as part of the 2017 West Virginia Association of Fairs & Festivals Pageant.
Zirkle was honored as the 2017 pageant’s Miss Congeniality. This is the third year in a row for Zirkle to receive the honor. The pageant took place the second weekend in January as part of the Annual Fairs and Festivals Convention.
Zirkle is the daughter of Danny and Kathie Staten of Junior and Jason and Cheryl Zirkle of Mabie. Queen Beth is the granddaughter of Dennis and Pat Calain of Elkins and Roger and Sharon Zirkle of Mabie. Zirkle is a full time Cosmetology student at the Clarksburg Beauty Academy.
Other area residents competing included Madison Mullenax of Parsons representing the WV Law Enforcement Festival. Jocelynn Wilson representing the Point Pleasant Battle Days Festival was crowned the 2017 Miss West Virginia Association of Fairs and Festivals.
