PARSONS – The Tucker County Giving Circle in conjunction with the Tucker Community Foundation has announced their grant cycle deadline for 2026. This year’s deadline is Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 at 3 p.m.. Grant applications can be submitted electronically by email to [email protected], hand delivered to the Tucker Community Foundation office, located on the second floor of the Tucker County Board of Education Annex, 104 Education Lane, Parsons by 3 p.m., or mailed with a postmark of Sept. 18, 2026, to PO Box 491, Parsons, WV 26287.
The Tucker County Giving Circle is a relatively new organization, formed in 2020, with the goal of creating a network of support to address the needs of women and children in Tucker County. Working in partnership with the Tucker Community Foundation, they annually award grants to Tucker County nonprofit organizations that align with their mission of increasing the life skills of women and children.
All grants are funded by annual dues paid by the Tucker County Giving Circle members. Grant amounts will vary from year to year, depending on the number of members and the number of grant applications received. This year’s maximum amount is $3,500.
All organizations should review the Eligibility Criteria for the application, prior to applying. Each application must meet all three criteria to receive funding from the Giving Circle. The three eligibility criteria for the application are listed below:
Grant funds must be used to increase the life skills of women and/or children of Tucker County.
Organizations must be a nonprofit, 501(c)(3), church or a government entity.
Organizations must be based in Tucker County.

If your grant application is approved, as a grantee you can expect a TCGC representative to conduct a site visit prior to the end of the grant year to verify all the funds were spent in the manner outlined in the grant application. All unexpended funds must be returned by Aug. 31 of the grant year.
