The Tucker County High School Cheerleaders would like to announce the six contestants vying for the title of Little Mr. and Miss Mountain Lion 2016.

They are:

Laila

Laila George, age 4, of Parsons, is the daughter of Leann George and Jason George and the little sister to Braxton. She is the granddaughter of Mike and Christine Rosenau, Clyde and Pam George, and Wayne and the late Dottie Jones. Laila attends the Riverview Chapel Church and preschool at Tucker Valley. She enjoys riding bikes, playing soccer and playing with her bother. When she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian. Laila is pictured with her TCHS cheerleaders, Leah Underwood and Kenzie Kyle.

Jaislynn
Jaislynn Grafton, age 4, of Hambleton, is the daughter of Dustin Grafton and sister to Hunter and Camille. She is the granddaughter of Norma Grafton and Roy Lipscomb. Jaislynn attends preschool at Tucker Valley. She enjoys swimming and riding bikes. When she grows up she wants to be a dancing princess. Jaislynn is pictured with her TCHS cheerleaders, Michaela Frame and Raen Wallace.

Mia
Mia Lambert, age 3, of Parsons, is the daughter of Dave and Alicia Lambert and the little sister to Xander. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Lois Lambert and Betty Luzier. Mia attends St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. She enjoys dancing, singing, swimming and playing with her big brother. When she grows up she wants to be a cheerleader. Mia is pictured with her TCHS cheerleaders, Calista Eye and Haley Tibbs.

Jaelynn
Jaelynn Elizabeth Taylor, age 4, of Hambleton, is the daughter of Brittany Taylor and Rebecca Brake. She is the granddaughter of Chuck and Dawn Taylor and Debbie Brake and the sister to Brennagon, Jace and Kolby. Jaelynn attends preschool at Tucker Valley. She enjoys dancing, singing, barbies, playing basketball and playing with her brothers. When she grows up she wants to be a teacher. Jaelynn is pictured with her TCHS cheerleaders, Kenzie Pitzer and Riley Evans.

Rhys
Rhys Hovatter, age 5, of Hendricks, is the son of Nick and Solena Hovatter and the brother to Brock and Gage. He is the grandson of Rick and Kathy Hovatter and Kelly and Sandy Roberts. Rhys attends Tucker Valley Elementary Middle School. He enjoys fishing, hunting and riding dirt bikes. When he grows up she wants to be a doctor. Rhys is pictured with his TCHS cheerleaders, Lindsey Poling and Jordan Teter.

Khori
Khori Brennan Miller, age 3, of Hambleton, is the son of Ciara Smith and Josh Keplinger and the brother to Maliyah, Katie, Terra and Jayden. He is the grandson of Mary Smith and Effie and Pete Kuhn. Khori enjoys fishing, hunting and riding go-karts. When he grows up she wants to be just like his sister, Maliyah. Khori is pictured with his TCHS cheerleaders, Maliyah Smith and Aliyah Plum.
The crowning of Little Mr and Miss Mountain Lion will take place on Friday, Sept. 16 at the R.H. Armstrong Field during halftime of the Tucker County vs. Moorefield football game. Each contestant will receive a gift bag full of TCHS items and the winners will receive a crown, sash and a season pass to all TCHS home sporting events for them and a parent. Little Mr. Mountain Lion will also receive a TCHS football jersey and Little Miss Mountain Lion will receive a TCHS cheer uniform.
