PHILIPPI, W.Va., July 25, 2016 – The Tygarts Valley Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) will convene a local work group meeting to develop ranking questions for project proposals in the Tygarts Valley.
The local work group includes representatives from conservation organizations and the public to provide localized information on natural resource priorities in the Tygarts Valley area. Ben Collier, NRCS District Conservationist and his staff cover two field offices in Philippi and Elkins, which include Barbour, Randolph, Taylor, Tucker, and Upshur Counties.
The Tygarts Valley Conservation District (TVCD) local working group will meet at the TVCD meeting room located next to the Philippi USDA Service Center, 16358 Barbour County Hwy. The meeting will begin 9 a.m., August 4. For more information contact Ben Collier at 304-457-4516, ext.102.
