The West Virginia Trappers Association
Will hold their annual Spring Fur Auction March 6-8, 2026, at the Gilmer County Recreation Center 1365 Sycamore Run Road Glenville, WV. Vendors will be present throughout the weekend. Consignment for finished fur, roots, deer horns, etc., begins at 9AM on Friday, March 6th. Consignment for finished fur continues through Saturday, March 7th beginning at 9AM. Fur Auction will be Sunday, March 8th at 1PM. Board of Directors meeting will be held Thursday, March 5th at 7PM. The event is free to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. WV Hunter Education Class
A WV Hunter Education Class will be held at Mount Grove Community Center located at Mount Grove Community Center in Eglon. Students must be 10 years old to register for class and may bring a packed lunch to class. Students must attend both days. Classes are on Sat, March 21 from 9 am – 5 pm and Sunday, March 22 from 1-5 pmYou can register at register-ed.com.
