Pocket guide includes fall events, scenic drives and a leaf identification key
CHARLESTON, West Virginia (October 4, 2016) – Wild, Wonderful West Virginia announced the Fall Guide–a traveler’s guide to fall events, scenic drives and leaf identification throughout the Mountain State—is now available by calling 800-225-5982 or visiting https://gotowv.com/request-a-fall-foliage-guide/ and will soon be available in all eight Welcome Centers.
“West Virginia is known for brilliant fall colors and a leaf peeping experience unlike any other,” Commissioner of Tourism Amy Shuler Goodwin said. “The Fall Guide is the perfect travel companion as you plan your adventures here in the Mountain State. While you’re here, be sure to share your photos with us (GoToWV.com/leaves) so we can showcase them on our new #MyWV Fall Color online map!”
Wild, Wonderful West Virginia – in collaboration with West Virginia State Parks and tourism industry partners – has also launched #MyWV Fall Color a web-based, user-generated platform to showcase fall foliage in the Mountain State. West Virginians and visitors are encouraged to share their fall foliage photos at GoToWV.com/leaves.
