Kolsun signed the motion and the Parsons City Council unanimously approved the measure. Constitution week encourages the study and teaching of the Constitution, according to Hebb. “This is Constitution Week,” Hebb said. “The President of the United States proclaims September 17th through the 23rd Constitution Week every year. And we encourage the studying and reading of the Constitution in area schools. The DAR has had principals in all three of our schools sign proclamations and one was sent to each of the City Halls in the County and we’re very pleased to have Mr. Kolsun sign the City of Parsons Proclamation this evening.”
