The family of Evan Wesley Rhoades, pictured with Tucker County Commissioners Fred Davis, left, and Tim Knotts, were on hand for the signing of the declaration for Alcohol Awareness Month. Angela McCrum, center, the mother of Evan Wesley Rhoades, spoke about her son and his battle with alcoholism until the age of 25.
“Even in his hardest moments, Evan’s heart was for others – he was the first to offer a hand and the first to say, ‘Keep on Truckin’ Brother’ to anyone facing an uphill climb.” Rhoades’ family along with others with The Rhoades to Recovery mission attended.
